Welcome

This is the website for the work-in-progress 1st edition of “Statistical Acumen: Advanced Data Analysis”. In ADA1, this book will teach you how to produce beautiful (quarto) and reproducible (knitr/quarto) reports with informative plots (ggplot2) and tables (kable) by writing code (R, RStudio, tidyverse) to answer questions using fundamental statistical methods (all one- and two-variable methods), which you’ll be proud to present (poster). In ADA2, you’ll learn more advanced statistical methods (multiple regression, analysis of covariance, logistic regression, multivariate methods, and classification).

This website is and will always be free, licensed under the CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 License.

Statistical Acumen: Advanced Data Analysis was written by Erik B. Erhardt, with historical contributions by Edward J. Bedrick and Ronald M. Schrader for ADA 1 and 2 notes at UNM.
