25-50 people: Room for the day is 290
50-75 people: Room for the day is 370
$200 damage deposit which is returned.
They have tables and chairs.
They ask us to do the set-up as we want it and take down, clean-up.
We can also hire someone for this part or pay grad students!
We can use any caterer we want or bring our own food.
This room has a kitchen.
Projection: They have a 6 ft X 6 ft screen.
Parking: plenty, they have their own lot.
Open Wednesdays in October  are 10, 17, 31 (halloween). The woman I spoke with said Fridays (or any weekdays) are generally good.

Statistical Issues in Measurements and Metrology (?)

The cost is $50 for non-students and $25 for students. Payment can be made by cash or check at the meeting. Checks should be made out to the Albuquerque Chapter of the ASA. Registration includes lunch as well as coffee break in the afternoon. Details on lunch at the bottom of this page.

You must RSVP to Earl Lawrence (earl@lanl.gov) by September ?? if you plan to attend the meeting. In your RSVP, please indicate if you require a vegetarian lunch.

Please consider the following points with respect to the meeting:

  • Election of new officers.
  • Mu-Sigma-Rho (statistical honorary society) inductions.
  • Technical talks are included in our meeting. We think that a mix of technical and general talks allows more variety. If you are interested by the opportunity of presenting your work to our members, please contact any of the officers for inclusion in the program.
  • Donate to fund future New Mexico Science and Engineering Fair "Best Use of Statistics" awards. Contributions are tax deductible.
  • Date for annual 2008 meeting -- in Spring
